Rosanne Olson works in both fine art and commercial photography. Her background in photography, which began with an interest in art and fine art photography, includes a master's degree in journalism from the University of Oregon. During the past 20 years her photography has won many awards including a National Addy Citation of Excellence and inclusion in numerous Communication Arts Annuals and Graphis Photography Annuals. She was recently featured in a cover story for the January/February 2004 Communication Arts magazine and is currently featured in the July edition of View Camera Magazine.

Rosanne’s work has been included in many fine art group shows and one-person exhibits. She is represented by the Robin Rice Gallery in New York ( and the Benham Gallery in Seattle (, Watermark Gallery in Houston, f/8 gallery in Austin and Iris Gallery in Massachusetts.

A past president of the Seattle/Northwest chapter of ASMP, Rosanne also teaches workshops in Seattle at Photo Center Northwest and at the Santa Fe Workshops where she focuses on helping photographers access or enhance their creativity.

Rosanne enjoys traveling throughout the world, shooting her own personal work as well as for her stock photography agencies. She is currently working on two books.
